Santa

Today I loaded up the car and took my boys to see Santa! We arrived right when the mall opened and were the first and only people in line, so we were able to walk right up and spend lots of time with Santa:) before we went I told Tripp he could tell Santa anything he wanted for Christmas so he walked right up to him and said "car, truh (truck), and bah man (a batman toy he wants). It was funny he didn't waste a second!! Neither of the boys were scared they just sat and kept looking at Santa and then at me. The photographer and I were jumping and ringing bells and trying to get them to smile, but nothing!! Who does that remind you of?? Haha.





After a visit with Santa we went and played in the play area for a little while then headed to the Disney store. Tripp picked out bolt (loves the movie) and was so excited!!




We then headed to the food court for some Chickfila! Both of our boys love it!! Even bolt got in on the action;)











After a fun morning, we headed home to relax and get ready for nap:) but not before taking a walk over to Schindewolf lane and visiting with coach and aunt Janelle while they were out decorating:) then we came in and got comfy and I put my tired little boys down for nap:)

Holidays

I love the holidays!! From baking, to decorating, to gathering with family and friends, to shopping and so much more...I love it all!! This past weekend was full of it all:) we spent time as a family, went to a birthday party, got a new tv (merry Christmas to me and Carl!), went shopping, had some girl time with my mom and lots more:) yesterday Carl and Erik went over to their dad's house to help finish up the decorations in his yard for Schindewolf lane!! So I decided to bake some special Christmas sugar cookies and make some home made icing:) I say special cookies because they are an old Schindewolf family recipe. Anyways, I made cookies and Tripp and Kate decorated the cookies. They turned out super yummy and super cute! Afterwards we all headed over to coach's house where he treated us to gringos take out. It was a great night!! I didn't take lots of pics but here are a few of Tripp and Kate decorating:)

It's beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS!!

The Christmas season is upon us!! I love it:) we got our decorations up on Friday and finished up Saturday and I got all my Christmas cards addressed and sent out today! Did I mention that I finished my Christmas shopping today too?! I feel very productive and I love this time of year!! Here are a few recent pictures. This year I decided to decorate our tree with hot wheels since Tripp is obsessed with them!! So I took the time to tie string around each little car and hang them on the tree. When Tripp came in and saw his cars hanging from the tree (he has TONS of them) he freaked out and started ripping them off the tree!! It was actually pretty funny:) needless to say we didn't get to have a complete hot wheels tree like I had planned but we were able to hang some with a few other ornaments too.

Tucker got his first haircut last night too! Daddy cut his hair while we were over visiting coach. So his little mullet curl is gone! He looks like a big boy now:/ my babies are getting too big!!

Thankful

Thankful and Blessed. That is how I would summarize this past week. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends! We are lucky enough to be able to celebrate thanksgiving 3 times!! Sunday we had a yummy celebration with coach, and the rest of our schinde family:) We all made yummy food and had quite a feast. It was so much fun getting together and celebrating as a family. It was hard not having our grammy there, but we knew she was there watching over us:) Before the celebration Tripp and I travled to baytown to celebrate jake's birthday! We had fun but hurried back for our feast:)

 

 

On Thanksgiving day we headed over to my mom's for our traditional feast!! We ate and talked, laughed and ate some more!! It was a great day. Afterwards we all headed over to my grandparent's house to visit with more of our big family! And yes, we did eat a little bit more:) Thursday evening my sister, her sister in law and myself all headed out for our traditional black friday shopping adventures! It was so much fun as usual and this year we hit more stores than normal and got some really great deals!! So great, that we didn't get home until 6 am!! I am running on 2 hours of sleep but oh well, it was worth it and I am now just about done with my Christmas shopping:) After a few hours of sleep we headed over for our final Thanksgiving feast at my dad's house. Again, we ate so much and had a great time talking and laughing with each other. Like I said before we.are.blessed. There's nothing like laughing with the ones you love the most. Thank you to mom and keith, dad and ginger and coach for hosting 3 wonderful feasts for our little family! We love you all!!

 

 

Now we are in full Christmas mode, especially since it is my favorite holiday!! We put our tree up today and started on decorations but still have lots to go! I have also started addressing my Christmas cards and will be sending them out on monday! Let the Christmas season begin!!

ONE.

Today my baby boy officially turns the big one! This year has had so many ups and downs but having this precious little boy in it, has made our lives complete!! We love him to pieces:) Here are some of the things our little man is up to:

 

• wears size 18-24 months
• weighs about 22 lbs
• has offically been cleared for milk! (we thought we wouldn't be able to due to allergies, at this point doc thinks he may have an allergy to rice)
• likes to stand and roll, but no walking yet
• talks all the time! (faves: mama, dada, baba)
• loves strawberries and bananas
• takes 2 naps a day
• goes down around 7:30 usually sleeps until about 6:30
• has been a mommy's boy but recently started preferring daddy
• has almost 8 teeth!!
• size 4 diapers
• smiles all the time!!
• loves to jump
• likes to be outside
• loves to play with his brother
• loves cars
• likes mickey mouse and special agent oso
• loves cheerios and cheetos
• likes to shake his head no
• likes to give high fives and clap
  
  

 

Those are just a few highlights of our sweet boy. He has been such a light in our lives and we love him so very much!! And as grammy used to call him "my little white boy". He definitely is a little white boy, not sure he will tan as easily as his daddy and brother;) oh well!

 

 

Since our anniversary is the day before tucker's birthday, I'm fairly certain our anniversary will not be nearly the big deal it used to...and I'm just fine with that! What a great way to celebrate our love!! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and 2 healthy, sweet natured, handsome, precious little boys!! Love all the men in my life:)

Five years ago I married my prince charming. It has been five glorious years full of ups and downs, tears and laughter, good times and bad, and most importantly full of unconditional love and two precious little boys later...I love you carl more every day!
