Mickey and Minnie

tripp loves mickey mouse!

Last night was family fun night at chick-fil-a and 2 of tripp's favorite characters made an appearance...Mickey and Minnie! He was super excited when he saw them and ran right over to them and tried to talk to them (in his language of course!). It was too cute. Grammy and aunt Rat even joined in on the fun! It was a good thing since daddy was late coming from work, they were a big help! We had a yummy dinner and tripp got to run around and climb in the playplace too. Cousin Kate and Uncle erik even stopped by later on. It was a fun family night! I think tucker even enjoyed it...he was bouncing all around my belly:)

Speaking of tucker, we have our last ultrasound tomorrow! We can't wait to see our little boy. Hard to believe I am already 31 weeks and the new little schindewolf will be here in 7-8 weeks!

they look really excited;) they really were, i promise!

Thanks for stopping by!

Playdates and the joys of boys!

Lately tripp and I have been occupying our time with some fun playdates. We went over to brenden and graham's house on Wednesday for lunch and some fun. Tripp loves playing with his buddy graham and especially loves teaching him his crazy ways....sorry bren! And us preggo mommys really enjoy our munching and gossip time;)

Yesterday tripp, Grammy and I traveled over to visit kristen, Kate and new baby abbey. Tripp had a blast playing with cousin Kate and eating his favorite Chickfila. Us ladies had a great time catching up and of course holding sweet abbey!

Tripp and I have also been spending more time outside lately. In fact the other day I took him out for a nice morning walk. He was doing great running up and down Schindewolf lane with rocky, until he saw a nice big puddle at the end of uncle jimmie's driveway! Next thing I know he's running through it, so I think ok he can get his feet and legs wet and muddy. But oh no, that wasn't enough..next thing I know my little boy is sitting in and swimming in the muddy puddle! It was crazy and of course he didn't want to leave so I had to carry him, football hold style, kicking and screaming all the way home! So needless to say by the time we got home we were both wet, muddy and tired! After a good bubble bath we both took a long nap:) oh the joys of boys!

We are also so blessed to live so close to family. Every evening tripp and I go out for a walk and usually end up hanging out at coach and Grammy's which tripp loves! He loves to run around with rocky. Coach even let's him hold his leash. Below you will see some pictures along with some of tripp in his muddy water and some from our playdate. I am blogging from my phone so I apologize for the disorganization of the pictures!

We just came back in from outside, it is beautiful and nice and cool! Tripp even got to ride with coach on his john deere! Grammy got some good pictures so I will post some soon. Thanks for stopping by!

29 1/2 weeks

tucker at 29 1/2 weeks

Here we are almost at week 30! only 8 weeks to go before baby tucker arrives! I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by. It has been a bit different from tripp's in that I have had a lot more pain and had a harder time getting around. I know it probably has something to do with the fact that I have a very active 18 month old that I'm chasing around:) Other than a few ailments, I have been feeling great! Tucker's room is almost ready and tripp loves to go into his room and play with all his old baby toys. My appetite has been very good...and I have been eating very good:) In fact, today carl and tripp took me to mcalister's because I have been craving a grilled chicken club and broccoli cheddar soup! It was delicious and a nice little lunch with my 2 boys. I can't believe in a few short months it will be "my 3 boys!"

Tucker has been extremely active these days. He moves non-stop! I guess I better prepare myself for another active little boy! I love feeling and watching him move around my belly. Tripp likes to lift up my shirt and pat my belly and tucker will usually respond with a nice karate chop:) Lately it feels as if tucker is river dancing on my bladder! So needless to say sleeping is becoming more of a challenge. All in all things are great. We go for our last ultrasound on the 29th of september and we can't wait to see our little man. Time has flown by and we will be a family of 4 before we know it.

This past weekend was a fun one. We got a lot of stuff done around the house and on saturday we went to a couples shower for my best friend traci and her fiance matt. It was so nice seeing her and her family and of course munching down on some great food and rj goodies cake:) Can't wait to be a part of her special day in January. Love you trace!!

Not much to report on our little tornado, except he has been trying to talk a lot more lately. He speaks a lot of "jiberish" but he knows what he's saying;) He loves to cuddle with us and I love it! I soak up every minute because I know soon he will not want anything to do with me! He also is very observant and will take time to figure things out. For example, I bought one of those snack trap cups to put his snacks in, so he can carry it around and I don't have to worry about him dumping things out. Well I was wrong. When I gave it to him I noticed he sat down and studied it for a long time. Next thing I know, he had figured out how to hold open the flaps and dump out all his snack! So needless to say we had a trail of goldfish all around the house! Too smart for his own good!!

Below is a picture of the happy couple and one of our little smarty trying to trim his own toenails!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope all have a great week!

My Birthday Weekend

So I decided to start this post with a long overdue picture of me and mr. tucker. Above, I am 28 weeks. I am feeling ok pregnancy wise, but unfortunately tripp and I both have a yucky cold/allergies! We are hoping to kick it soon! Tripp got a prescription from the doctor this morning and I go to my check up tomorrow. Hopefully we feel better soon.

I had a great birthday week/weekend this past week. I turned 28 on friday! Can't believe how old we're getting;) Last week was great! The week started with carl being off on monday and tuesday I got a free chick-fil-a breakfast AND the pumpkin spice latte returned!! I know I have been talking about this latte ALOT, but it is delicious and seasonal so I look forward to it every year. If you havent tried one....you should! On Wednesday Tripp and I had our usual playdate with the girls and their boys and they celebrated my birthday. They were so sweet! I am so blessed to have such great girlfriends in my life....and as a bonus we all have little boys the same age! Thanks again Jessica, Brenden and Nina! Wednesday night Carl took me out for my birthday while tripp stayed home with yaya. It was so nice to get out and Carl took me to pappadeaux where I proceeded to stuff my preggo face with delicious food!! It was a great night!

On Friday, the day started with a visit from kristen, kate and grammy then my sweet grandmother took me out for a delicious birthday lunch! I was planning on taking my crazy little boy with us, but my awesome in-laws volunteered to watch tripp while I went. It was so nice and relaxing and of course yummy too!! Friday night when carl got home, tripp and I weren't feeling very good so we decided on take-out and a red box movie! It was a great end to a great day! Saturday afternoon we went over to my dad's house where they made us a yummy steak dinner and topped it off with cake and ice cream! On sunday, my mom and sisters took me out for a fun and relaxing day! We started off with pedicures followed by lunch, shopping and ended with some great dessert and coffee at hubbell and hudson! It was a fabulous weekend! I am so blessed by so many wonderful family and friends! Thanks to all for all the sweet emails, phone calls, facebook posts, texts, gifts and cards! Love you all!

There was also another surprise birthday that popped up this weekend...Little abbey lynn schindewolf was born on saturday! So I had a great weekend and got a new niece too! Unfortunatley, since we have been sick tripp and I haven't been able to meet her yet! We can't wait:)

Below are a few pictures from the weekend.

Tripp: 18 months

Today my little baby is 18 months old! Time flies! In fact, I was pulling out tripp's old baby clothes today to get ready for tucker, and it really seems like just yesterday he was wearing them! It sure brought some tears to my eyes. As Im sure you have all read, tripp has become quite the active little handful in his 18 months:) Coach and Grammy have even nicknamed him "hurricane tripp". hehe. So here are some of the things our hurricance has been up to:

  • loves watching toy story and cars...calls both "caas" (cars)

  • loves him some chick-fil-a...when can't get him to eat much else, this usually works

  • still loves outside so really looking forward to fall weather so we can go out!

  • babbles a lot but only a few words..."dada" "caas" "jay (for jake)", "buh (bird)"

  • can point oout most things you ask just not interested in saying the words

  • loves to dance (must get that from daddy;))

  • been in toddler bed for a month now and doing great!

  • sleeps from about 8pm-7am

  • naps once a day

  • loves playing with cars and trucks

  • likes to shove food and drinks in our mouths

  • likes to give slobbery kisses...especially to daddy

  • knows how to open doors and cabinets

  • climbs ALL the time on EVERYTHING

  • wearing 2 and 3T

  • wears his camo crocs everywhere!

  • knows where his baby brother is (my belly)

  • likes to cuddle when watching one of his movies

  • cannot take him to grocery store anymore...will climb out of cart and have meltdowns, but will run if I let him down

  • really enjoys gymboree...especially climbing and running

  • loves playdates and hanging with other kids

That's just a little bit of what tripp has been up to. As active as is his he is still precious as ever and is a very sweet boy! We just love him to pieces! He especially loves his daddy and loves to mimic everything he does. It's so sweet. And at night sometimes Carl puts him down and it just melts my heart to see that precious boy sleeping soundly in his daddy's arms. I love my life and am looking forward to having another precious boy bless it! I will end this post with pictures of my 18 month old man:) Hope all have a great week! I know I will...not only my birthday week, but Carl is off tomorrow, free chick-fil-a breakfast, the return of the pumpkin spice latte and the highs will be in the 90's! Can't wait:) Love and blessings, Traci

Ready for fall

I am so ready for fall! It is my favorite season and not to mention it will finally start cooling off! Here are some of the things I love about fall and especially this fall...

The scenery outdoors
Pumpkin spice lattes
Pumpkin bread
The holidays
Family time
Bonfires
Sweaters and leggings
My uggs
Cooler weather
Birthdays...lots in our families
Decorations
Baking
Soups and stew
The pumpkin patch
And especially for this fall: the arrival of baby tucker:)

I can't wait! We are ready fall!

On another note...we have been staying home a lot these days and going crazy! Mostly because its too hot to be out and about and because tripp does not do good out, he does not like to sit still and wants to get down. However, if I let him down he takes off running, so it is much easier to stay home. One of the only places we go is to gymboree, which has been my saving Grace! It Is a place where tripp can run around and play safely and in the AC! Don't know what I would have done this summer without it!

Tripp is about to be 18 months...I can't believe it. I will be dedicating a post to him soon. He has been keeping plenty busy and we have even had some fun playdates recently, which tripp loves! He especially loves his cousin Jake and gets so excited when he gets to play with him. He will say "jay jay"! It's too cute!

Ok enough rambling:) I will end this post with some recent pictures...enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Love and blessings to all!
