playdates, parties and more!

Lately we have been busy having lots of playdates! last week we went over to cousin kate's house and tripp had so much fun playing with his cousin! Grammy even came along for the fun! We also had a playdate at our house last week and tripp got to run around outside with his buddies, graham, judd, evan and joshua! Us mommies had a good time chatting too:) Below are a few pictures from our playdates.

On Saturday we attended the annual Cowan/Starr Monster Bash! They put together an amazing halloween party every year! There were carnival like games, haunted woods, hayrides and tons of cute decorations and food! Tripp had a blast running around this year. We dressed tripp up as an aggie football player. He was too precious! We had originally wanted to do an aggie baseball player, but I could not find a baseball jersey to save my life! So football it was:) Cousin Kate was an aggie cheerleader...they were quite the pair;)

We had a great weekend and got a lot done. We still have a few more little things to do before tucker arrives, but for the most part we are ready....I think;) I am about 35 weeks along and am due to have my c-section on november 18th....unless he decides to make an eatrly appearance, we shall see! hard to believe we will be meeting our new little blessing in 3 weeks or less! This last month is proving to be very challenging, but I'm hanging in there. I have been bad about taking belly shots (probably because I spend most of my time taking pictures of tripp:)) but I am going to take some today and post them soon!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope all have a happy and blessed week:)

One rough week

This past week was a rough one! My poor little boy is cutting 3 back teeth all at the same time! So needless to say, there have been many sleepness nights, missed Naps and some extremely fussy days! Mix that with being 8 months pregnant and super uncomfortable and you've got a recipe for disaster. I could not wait for the weekend. And luckily this was one of the first weekends in a long time that we didn't have anything planned. Carl has been so amazing in helping with tripp and letting me get some rest. Yesterday I got to go have lunch with my sisters and then came home and took an hour long nap. It was so refreshing:) tripp of course doesn't mind at all, he LOVES his daddy and loves spending one on one time with him. When daddy is around he doesn't need his mommy;)

We have been spending lots of time outside since the weather is so nice. And that of course means making our way over to Grammy and coach's to play with rocky, take wagon rides, and run around their yard. Tripp loves it! The other afternoon coach took tripp for a special wagon ride which he loved! (See pics below).

This last month of pregnancy is looking to be rough, but I have been keeping my mind on the positive of what's to come....another precious little boy to bless our lives!

We spent most of the day outside today. We went to the park and then came home and tripp ran around outside. He was filthy by the time we went inside...but that's ok because he had a blast! We ended out the evening by having dinner at Grammy and coach's with the family. Tripp had so much fun running around with cousin Kate. He was worn out by the time we came home and went right to sleep, bug that didn't last long. It is now 1:30 am and we are up again with a fussy boy:( I'm hoping this week isn't like last week! Maybe God is just preparing us for life with a newborn again;) below are a few recent pictures...enjoy!

Hope all have a great week. Love and blessings to all!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took our little punkin' to the pumpkin patch. We took him last year and boy what a difference a year makes! Last year we actually got him to sit on the pumpkins, this year we were lucky if we could catch him as he was running around! So our pictures this year aren't as good as last year;) And hard to believe that next year we will have two little boys at the pumpkin patch! Grammy even joined in on the fun! we would of course pick the one day that was like boiling hot out....but we all had a good time nonetheless. I love fall and I love weekends I get to spend with my boys. God has truly blessed us! I decided to start with a picture of me and tucker at 32.5 weeks. I don't know why my legs are cut off in the picture, but oh well the belly is the money shot anyways;)

As you can see we had a great time! When we got home we were all sweaty and pooped out...always a sign of a good time;) Last night we went to a gender reveal party for our good friends brenden and chad. We found out they are having a girl! We are super excited for them and are excited for precious graham to have a little sister:) Not to mention we are ready to have a little girl in our all boy playgroup! Congratulations you guys!!

Thanks for stopping by! We are enjoying our lazy rainy sunday and hope you are too! May all have a blessed week:)

Playdates

This past week we hosted 3 Playdates at our house. We love having friends over! Tripp gets so excited when he has playmates and I love having some girl chatting time:) Playdates have been so great especially since I am 8 months pregnant and have a hard time getting around with an active 19 month old.

Tripp is now 19 months old and changing so much everyday. He's not talking too much, but communicates well with the few words and sounds he does make. His physical skills continually soar;) he loves being outside and especially loves to go over and play at Grammy and coach's house. He is just such a precious boy and I love spending all my days with him...even the rough ones;) I feel very blessed and am really excited to have another precious son in a few weeks!

Today we are planning on heading to the pumpkin patch. We love family activities and love having daddy home! Below are some pictures from our playdate and a few others...again sorry for the disorganization, I'm blogging from my phone. Hope all have a blessed weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Diaper Shower

"cheeeeeee!!"

Thought I would start out this post with some precious pictures of tripp! Lately, when we pick up the camera and say "cheese" he will say "cheeeee" and get this big smile on his face! It is too precious. I got a few good ones but he gives daddy the best cheese faces!

This past weekend my mom and sisters threw me and tucker a diaper shower. It was so sweet and lots of fun. It was so good to see some family and friends. We got lots of good stuff and are really prepared for our new little man! Thank you mom, kelly, tiffany, susan and grandma for all you did! And thank you to all who came and showered us with sweet gifts. We love you all and can't wait to introduce tucker to all! Below are some pictures from the shower. My sister made it a "sweet" theme, which was right up my alley these days! Yummy cupcakes, pumpkin bread and petit fors!! thanks again!!

It was such a great time! We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends. We don't know what we would do without them. Hard to believe little tucker will be here in 6 weeks or less!

Speaking of baby tucker, we went for our last ultrasound last thursday. Carl, tripp and grammy all came along. All looks good and tucker is measuring a week and a half ahead. He had his litttle hands around his face the whole time...as if saying "stop taking my picture!" perhaps tucker will be a little more like his daddy when it comes to pictures! Obviously, as evidenced by the opening pictures of this post, tripp is a lot more like mommy when it comes to pictures! :)

Thanks for stopping by. We will update again real soon.

Love and Blessings,

Traci
