November is always a busy month for us. Not only is it thanksgiving but also my dad's birthday, my nephew jake's birthday, tuck's birthday, kate's birthday and our anniversary! Although last week was a very hard one, we have tried our best to get back to normal as much as possible because I know Susie is looking down on us and telling us to! Last sunday we celebrated kate's 3rd birthday and then we went over to my dad's to watch the texans and celebraet his birthday as well. It was a bittersweet end to a tough weekend. Thank God for family:)
This weekend is no exception to our busy month. Tomorrow Carl and I will be celebrating 5 wonderful years (be looking for a blog post dedicated to us:)) and on sunday tucker will turn the big ONE!! (again, yes another blog post dedicated to our munchkin;)) We already celebrated his birthday so we will probably have a nice family breakfast because the rest of our day is jam packed!! My nephew jake turned 4 last week and his party will be sunday afternoon. After the party we will head back to schindewolf lane to celebrate an early thanksgiving dinner with coach, uncle erik, aunt kristen, kater and abbey. Carl is going to fry a turkey and I am going to be making susan's dressing that was so special and passed down from her mother. It is an honor to make it and I just hope it will taste half as good as hers did! I guess maybe I can perfect it in the next couple of years:) We miss her so much but I know she is always with us:) We are looking forward to getting together and eating lots more yummy food! We will be celebrating thanksgiving twice more in the week (once with my mom and once with my dad). Guess I will need to be hitting my elliptical extra hard this week!! Anyways, here are some pictures...several new blog posts coming up!!
