Tripp's 1st Astro's Game

We took Tripp to his first Astro's game on Sunday. He loved it! But only for about 30 minutes:) After that, I spent most of the time walking him around the stadium people watching and eating cotton candy:) Grammy and Coach came along with us and we had a lot of fun! I see many more baseball games in our future;) We had a fun weekend overall and even attended a graduation party for my cousin. Below are some pictures from our weekend....enjoy!

We had a fun weekend and started off this week with a bang! We went to Baytown to visit my sister, bro-in-law and nephews. They took us out to lunch and then my awesome bro-in-law watched all the boys while my sister and I went to visit her new nephew. It was nice getting out and holding a brand new baby boy! Made me anxious to hold my little tucker in a few months:) Although I do have my precious little tripp to hold anytime I want....when I can catch him;) Tomorrow we have swimming lessons and then possibly some gymboree playtime, anything we can do to get out some energy and keep cool! Tucker is doing well and growing so much...I can tell by my growing tummy:)

Thanks for stopping by! Hope all have a wonderfully blessed week!!

A little monkey and his mommy

I thought I would start with an update on our little tucker. I went to the doctor on wednesday and got to hear his precious heartbeat...like music to my ears:) All looked good and he's growing like he should. I have been feeling really good! Been eating a lot as usual but have also noticed that my little tummy has really sprouted out in the past week! Guess this little boy is growing good:) I felt tucker really moving around yesterday morning, in fact it even woke me up! Looks like carl and I will have another early bird on our hands:) Here are some of the things I have been craving lately: cheeseburgers, chips and salsa, jalapenos, anything salty and sandwiches. A random assortment...i know;) I guess that's it for tucker for now...we're almost at 18 weeks! It is going fast!!

Now on to the little monkey, also known as tripp:) He has been keeping me busy as usual. He is able to find a way to crack me up everyday. Whether it be dancing, talking, climbing or discovering soomething new....this boy keeps me busy and my heart full of joy:) We have been staying busy and trying to stay indoors. gymboree and open gym have been a lifesaver and tripp has really enjoyed it. We went today and turns out our little boy is quite the flirt! He buddied himself up with 2 little girls, both of whom were precious little blonds! Oh boy! We have a busy fun weekend ahead including tripp's first astro's game! We can't wait...I will of course post pictures soon. Enjoy a few recent pictures of our monkey!

Tripp's15 month check-up and Baby Tucker

We have had a busy morning already! We started the day off at our mommy/baby swim class, where tripp had a blast as usual, then we went to tripp's 15 month check-up. Grammy came with us for some support since he was getting 2 shots! It was a good thing she came because my little monster was all over the place and she was a big help! Tripp was a trooper and is healthy and growing right on track! Here are his stats:

-weight: 26 1/2 lbs 75th percentile
-height: 2'8" 72nd percentile
and as usual he is in the 100 percentile for his head circumference!

Here are a few things our man is up to these days:

-says dada, mama, yaya, ba- for ball, baa-for bat
-can recognize most family members by name
-picks up pictures that have carl in them and carries them around while saying "dada"
-loves outside
-still climbing on EVERYTHING!
-can take his diaper off
-may be down to one nap a day
-LOVES milk!
-loves chik-fil-a nuggets
-loves fruit, especially grapes
-really likes being around other kids
-is in gymboree and fins
-can lift up his shirt to show his belly and belly button
-will lift up my shirt and pat my belly when we ask "where is your baby brother?"
-talks and giggles all the time!
-has a smile that melts mommy's heart!
-likes to sit in our laps and will come over and back into us
-goes to sleep around 8:30 and wakes up around 7

Our little man has been busy and is getting so big! Time flies!! It's hard to believe in 4 1/2 short months we will have another little boy around! This mommy can't wait to be spoiled by all her handsome men;)

On another note we have officially decided on the name for baby boy #2: TUCKER MASON SCHINDEWOLF. So come November we will have a little tripp and a little baby tucker on our hands! We can't wait! I go to the doctor tomorrow to check up on tucker, so I will update on his status soon.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope all have a great week!

Love and blessings,
Traci, tripp and baby tucker:)

Happy Father's Day

Like father, like son:)

I have to dedicate this post to an amazing man! My wonderful husband and tripp's amazing daddy! We are so lucky to have you in our lives. You sacrifice so much for us and work so hard to provide all that we could ever need and want. I can't imagine my life without you and couldn't imagine raising two boys with anyone else. Those little boys are so lucky to have a man like you to look up to! It's evident how much tripp loves and adores you already. To see the joy in his eyes everytime you walk into a room, to hear his chuckles as yall wrestle on the floor, to see the way he tries to imitate you already....tripp loves his daddy! Even when he was still in mommy's belly, everytime he heard your voice he would start moving like crazy, I knew he was going to be a daddy's boy from that very moment;) I'm certain our next little boy will be the same way! There are not enough words to express the pride we feel to have you as our Godly leader, provider, supporter, encourager, HERO....the list goes on! I guess what I'm trying to say is we love you very much and hope you have a very happy father's day! We are blessed beyond words!!

Happy Father's Day to all you daddy's out there! A special shout out to my dad, my father-in-law, my grandfather, brother-in-laws, not to mention numerous uncles, cousins and friends! Have a blessed day daddys!!

Love and Blessings,

Traci, tripp and baby boy:)

"poo-tastrophe"

We certainly had an interesting day yesterday...hence the title of this post. Tripp has recently discovered how to take his diaper off. Well we were playing in his playroom when I hear the sound of diaper coming off. I turn around and see a naked little butt running towards the kitchen. It takes me about 10 seconds to get to the kitchen and when I do, what do I see? I see a little boy squatting on the floor making a "nasty" in two small piles on the floor! He sees me and takes off running (all while laughing) right through the poop!! So now I have two piles of poop, poop footprints and a laughing 1 year old covered in poop! Wow! needless to say it was chaotic. Of course, now it is funny to me....at the time, not so much;) I wish I had taken pictures, but at the moment it was a mission to catch the poop covered boy before he got to the carpet! Oh the joys of little boys!

We have also been spending a lot of time outside in the evenings. Last night we watched tripp play in the sprinkler and water sprayer at coach and grammys. Tripp also got to visit with aunt janelle and her cute little dog greta, which tripp loves! We love living so close to family! Tripp loves his coach and likes to imitate things he does. The other day coach was watching a baseball game and after a good play coach threw both hands in the air and said yea! Well his little copycat has been doing it ever since! He even throws a jump in every now and then too. It's really funny! Below is a picture of tripp doing his "hooray" and a few other pictures too. Hope you enjoy!

"HOORAY"

watched dad hammer....now he's hammering too.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you had a good laugh:) Come by soon...I'm sure there will plenty more laughs to come! Have a Blessed Thursday.

tea parties, birthdays and lots of pool time!

We have been some busy bees here lately! Last week we were super busy with lots of fun activities. On Wednesday we met my sister and nephews over at my dad's for some fun in the sun by the pool! We had a great day swimming and hanging out. Tripp and I even practiced some of the new skills we learned at tripp's swim lesson last week! This little boy LOVES the water! On Friday we went to gymboree, which tripp also loves, and then we stopped by aunt karen's for a tea party. Yes, that's right I took my very rambunctious little boy to a tea party! They were so nice to include us even though it was just for the girls:) Especially since I will be having another little boy soon:) Needless to say tripp was his regular crazy little self! I spent most of the time chasing him around their house, praying that he didn't break anything! All of the little girls, including tripp's cousin kate, all sat at their seats and enjoyed their lunch. Not my little one, if he wasn't climbing on the table, he was knocking over water and grabbing plates and cups and taking off! Wow, I was tired when we left! And needless to say we didn't stay long! It was all so nicely. That will probably be the last tea party we will ever be invited to! Especially once I have another little crazy guy on my hands:) That's ok...I have to say I love my little boy and little boys love their mommys too! Can't wait to have 2!!

On Friday night, Carl's sweet parents had us over for some yummy gringos! We had a good time getting together and tripp enjoyed playing with kate. Saturday we celebrated my sister kelly's birthday. Carl ended up staying home with tripp so I was able to have a nice afternoon out with my mom and sisters! We had a yummy lunch at the cheesecake factory and then did a little shopping. It was a fun day. We ended out the weekend with more pool time and yummy mexican food at dad's. It was a great weekend! Below are some random pics...enjoy!

sweet summer time

15 weeks

We have been busy little bees already this summer! Tripp has been so active and keeping me busy. I enrolled him in a gymboree class and in a mommy/baby swim class. We have been to both for the first time and he loved it! Last week we had our first gymboree class and after just arriving the teacher noticed how well tripp was climbing (on the chairs in the waiting area) and running all around and suggested we might want to move him up to the older class. We went ahead and tried out the class with his age group and sure enough he was a little more physically advanced than the others. At one point the teacher had all the babies push on this one big log and roll it across the gym. Well our little haus, started pushing so hard that one by one all the other babies would fall and tripp pushed it all the rest of the way by himself! It was hysterical! Needless to say we will be joining the older class this week:) Today we had our first swim class. Tripp seemed to really enjoy it and actually behaved for the most part;) grammy and coach even came to watch, Tripp was really excited to see them. I have been trying to let him stay active and stay indoors as much as possible! It's just too hot! We even bought a bigger pool for the backyard so that tripp and I can spend some time outdoors and stay nice and cool. We have been having a blast!

tripp is now 15 months old and changing so much! He has always been ahead with the physical aspects but is now starting to communicate and understand better. He loves to say "dada" all the time! Now he knows how to say "ba" for ball and "baa" for his basball bat. He also loves to push his trucks and cars all over the floor and makes a "vroooom" sound when he does. He has a little baseball tee set and we say "tripp get your bat" and he runs over and gets his bat, then we say "swing!" and he hits the ball with the bat. It's really cute. He can also say "mama" and "yaya" and he knows who grammy, coach, chief, and his aunt, uncle and cousins are. Whenever I say "where's grammy and coach?" He runs to the door and waits then gets really mad when we don't go outside! At grammy and coach's house, you can usually find coach in his chair and tripp knows exactly where it is. In fact he waits for coach to get up then he runs over and jumps in his chair! He thinks its so funny when coach comes over to get him! this little boy LOVES his daddy. It is so precious to watch them together. I am one lucky girl to have carl as a husband and father to my little boy and soon to be other little boy:) These boys are really blessed to have such a great man to look up to. I love having a little boy and am excited to have another!

I guess I have rambled on enough. Just wanted to post an update on our precious and active little man. enjoy the pictures!
