2013 recap

2013 was a rough year for us for so many reasons, but it was also a good year full of joy and many blessings:) just a reminder that no matter what, we have a strong, loving and faithful God! It is crazy what can happen in a year. We lost our Grammy right before the new year which hit us hard. Then we celebrated tripp's 3rd birthday:) a few weeks later tucker was hospitalized for 2 weeks and we were put on a roller coaster for most of the year, full of therapies, feeding tubes, specialists,tests, blood draws, surgery, many sleepless nights, lots of worry and a lot of uncertainty. With all of that uncertainty tucker proved just how strong he is and God showed us his mighty power; when we remain faithful and give him all the glory and most importantly, learn to praise him in our storms in life! Tucker started eating like a champ, stopped being fed through a tube, started walking and running, gained a ton of weight, was able to stop all his therapies, turned 2 and has continued to baffle all the the doctors and specialists he sees. We are by no means through with this journey and still have more questions and lots of medications, but we are faithful and know that God is working on tucker and we are hopeful to get answers and a "fix" in this new year! We also experienced the love of family and friends, turned 30 and learned to appreciate every minute of life:) with all that we being said we are ready for 2014. Instead of posting a million pictures, I thought I would post a little video with some highlights and "lowlights" of the year. Thanks for stopping by!
