Another update...

We had our visit with the hematologist yesterday. The good news is his hemoglobin levels were up to almost a normal level, which is huge for him, the not so great news is that he has to have another iron infusion in 4 weeks. Although, after that infusion the doctor wants to wait it out a bit longer before checking to see when he will need another. So the good news in that is that we will likely be able to enjoy the holidays without any iron infusions! I guess one thing I've learned is there is always a silver lining:)

While we were there we also had his height and weight checked. He has actually gained some weight since we stopped feeding him through his tube and grown a bit in length! Our GI doc called me yesterday and said she was very happy with his growth process. So no more tube feeding for hopefully ever! The button will stay in for a while until we know more about what's going on. In the mean time our days are filled with therapies for tucker, speech for Tripp, school, specialist appointments and routine doctor visits. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed but I am thankful for the wonderful people placed in our path to help my boys and the progress each has been making:) I cannot say it enough, God is good:)

I am looking forward to a fun filled family weekend, complete with our annual trip to the pumpkin patch:) bring on the fall festivities!!

Thanks for stopping by:) please keep us in your prayers:)

This morning we made a trip to rj goodies and the boys may have had a sweet treat for breakfast;) shhhh, don't tell!!

Love and blessings,
Traci
