picture overload...and a funny story;)

We have been busy with playdates, dinner get togethers, and hanging outside enjoying the beautiful weather! below you will see lots of pictures from various occasions:) Reccently we took the boys to get their picture taken with the easter bunny. We went to memorial city mall since it is close to carl's work so he could stop by for a minute. Grammy came along and was a big help! It all went really well and tripp and I even got to take a train ride and he got to play in the play area. We had lunch at chickfila (tripp's fave) then headed home. It was a great day and we are so glad grammy was able to join in on the fun:) This leads me into a really funny story. Tripp was exhausted and fell asleep in the car. I took him out of the car and put him into his bed where he lay down quietly. I went on to feed tucker and put him down. He had been quiet on the monitor so I decided to take a look at the screen to make sure he was in fact sleeping. Well the first thing I saw was a bare bottom hopping back into his bed! I thought, "uh oh!" So as I walked into his room I was slapped by a stinky smell!! I found his diaper on one side of the room and it was empty! The next thing I know I step in something warm and gooey....you know the rest, I will spare the gorey details;) I take a look at tripp, who is now laughing hysterically and jumping in his bed, he is covered in this warm gooey "stuff" and so are his sheets and pillow case! Needless to say it was an eventful afternoon full of lots of cleaning:) Oh the joys of toddler boys! Ok enough chatter....here are some...ok LOTS of pictures, enjoy!

Tucker's stats

So I took my sweet baby to the doctor today for his 4 month check up. Here are his stats:

Weight: 19 lbs. 10oz. (99th percentile)
Height: 25.75" (79th percentile)
Head: 46cm (99.7th percentile)

To quote Dr. Watson, "tucker is just a big boy". So there you have it, our sweet boy is still a biggin! He is so precious and I love him to pieces! He was so good at the doctor and was talking up a storm. He cried a little bit when he got his shots but then zonked out as soon as we got in the car. We are also going to be starting him on solids tonight, I have a feeling this "little" boy is more than ready;) will update about that soon:)

4 months

Our precious little tucker is now 4 months old! He is just so precious and such a little joy:) we have been told many times that he has that "certain sparkle" in his eyes and he has been called "tiny" on several occasions! He is precious to us and here are a few things he has been up to:

• eats 6-7 oz every 4-5 hours or so
• sleeps like a champ (7:30 pm- around 6am) and also naps about 3 times a day.
• is super smiley!!
• is extremely laid back
• talks ALOT!
• loves to be carried around in the bjorn
• loves to be outside
• does really well on car rides
• is rolling around all over the place (started about a month ago)
• reaches for things and tries to grab toys and put in his mouth
• loves to watch mickey mouse just like his brother
• tries so hard to sit up
• gets excited at the sound of his daddy's voice
• does not like it when his brother screams...usually gets upset
• is so content most of the time
• loves bath time loves to splash!
• wears 9-12 month clothes!!
• still in size 3 diapers

Our little boy has been such a joy in our lives! we love having two boys and tucker has only enriched and completed our family. Tucker has continually been on the bigger side and we take him to the doctor tomorrow for his 4 month check-up. We can't wait to see what his stats are now! I will update the blog with the info tomorrow. Since this post is all about tucker, enjoy some recent pictures of him below! I will be updating the blog again soon with some recent pictures of big brother tripp:) Enjoy!

a weekend in pictures

Tripp's 2 year stats

Yesterday afternoon we took tripp to his 2 year check up. Tripp had to get one shot that he wasn't able to get at his 18 month appointment. I was really worried about how he would handle it. Well he only cried for a second then he was totally fine! I of course took him for ice cream right after:) tripp is getting so big and becoming such a little boy! It makes me so sad that my baby is growing up so fast. The nurse was asking us a series of questions such as " does he have 50 words in his vocabulary?" No. "Does he run and climb?" Yes! Etc. So I told her to save some time yes to all the active type questions and no to all the vocal type questions...that about sums up our rough and tumble little boy;) here are tripp's stats followed by some pictures of him on his actual birthday (we took him for a bike ride to the park to play and feed the ducks), then some at the doctor and after. Hope all have a great day:)

Height: 35.75" (85th percentile)
Weight: 33lbs. 2 oz. (94th percentile)
Head circumference: 52.7 cm (99th percentile...as usual;))
