Christmas 2012: part one

I don't know if you have seen the movie "four christmases" but that's how I feel sometimes! The only difference is we love every minute and are so blessed to be a part of such wonderful families! And we have 6 Chirstmases to attend!! It all started saturday with Christmas at my dad's. We had yummy food, desserts, home made egg nog, wine, fellowship, family and so much fun! Cousin Eddie from Christmas vacation even made an appearance ;)!! It was a fun night:) Dad and Ginger also spoiled us and our boys with lots of great gifts, including some new Texans shirts!! Thanks to dad and ginger for everything!! We love you! Perhaps the greatest gift of all, my wonderful hubby took our boys home and let me stay the night, relax in the hot tub, and get a good nights sleep!! Thanks honey!!

On Sunday afternoon we went out to celebrate at the annual Cowan Family christmas party. As usual, we ate too much and had a blast!! It was really hard without grammy being there with us, but we know she is always with us and we know how much she would want us to have fun and not worry about her!! So we did our best:) Thanks again Cown/starr family for hosting us again!!

As you can tell we have had a fun weekend so far! This morning we had Christmas at Coach's house and Christmas with the Schindewolf family! I will post more about that, Christmas day at my mom's, and our Chritsmas morning after tomorrow. But for now, here is a sneak peak! Hope all enjoy their holidays!!

The last few days have been full of holiday fun! Thursday night carl, tripp and I made a rice krispie choo choo train...tripp loved it! Then on Friday, Kristen, kate and abbey came over to help us decorate Christmas cookies and have a fun playdate:) I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking:)

We have had a fun week and have an even more fun week/weekend ahead! All our festivities kick off tonight with Christmas at my dad's, followed by the annual Cowan christmas party tomorrow, Christmas with our schinde family, then the entire schinde family on monday and Christmas at my mom's on tuesday! We are blesssed and ready for some food, fellowship, family and fun!! Hope all have a great weekend!!

Oooemmgee!

So my sweet little Tripp has been a bit of a little monster lately, shocker I know;) by monster I mean pushing the limits, throwing fits, etc. we have been working on some new discipline tactics that seem to be going ok. Well today I decided to take the boys to the mall to get tripp's haircut and just walk around a bit. My sweet grandmother came along with us too. We got tripps haircut, went to the Disney store, ate Chickfila, then my grandma said she would sit with Tripp and let him play while I went to get a couple gift cards. All went well until it was time to go. Tripp usually gets a little upset about leaving but knows its time to go and eventually stops whining. Not today!! He decided to throw a royal fit, not just any fit, a ROYAL one right in the middle of the mall!! I was so embarrassed and all I could do was wait for him to calm down. He did get a spanking on his little tooshie, but that did not calm him down! So I waited while lots of people walked by just looking at us, some smiling, some with sympathy on their face for me and some in horror( obviously not parents;)) it felt like forever but it was actually about 5 minutes. Finally he calmed down and we high tailed it out of there!! We go to the mall all the time and he never does that, he would of course pick the busiest time of the year!! I know one day I will look back at this and laugh, that is why I wanted to make sure I have it recorded:) oh goodness, what a day! So my apologies to anyone who happened to be in the woodlands mall this morning! Ok well here are some random pictures from my iPhone that I haven't loaded yet:) enjoy!!

Tripp's Christmas Party

Today was tripp's class party at his mother's day out. They had pizza and cupcakes and invited us to come too! So tucker and I went up there to celebrate with his class. Tripp was so cute playing with all his friends and teachers. He has 2 really great teachers, one of which also babysits for us and we love her sooo much!! It was a super fun day!
