Almost ONE!

Wow, I can't believe my little boy is going to be one, in one week from today! Where does the time go?? He has been so busy these days WALKING all around. He wants to walk everywhere! When we go to the store now he fights to get down and wants to walk and explore. He sometimes wants to hold our hand for that little extra support, but lately he just goes on his own. In fact yesterday we traveled to baytown to have lunch with my nephew blake at school. While we were sitting and visiting tripp's 2 year old cousin jake was running all over the cafeteria. Tripp thought it was just hilarious and before I knew it he took off on his own trying his best to keep up with his cousin! It was so precious! I just can't believe how big he is.

The real question these days is mama ready for her not so baby boy to turn one?? haha. I have been so emotional these past few days. I was listening to a song on the radio the other day talking about how fast kids grow up and how much they mean to us and I lost it! I was boo-whoing all the way home. Tripp was in the backseat cracking up at mickey mouse:) All in all it just makes me think about how much this little munchkin has changed my life for the better. Being a mom is the greatest blessing! I don't live my life for me anymore, I live my life for my son. I love this little boy more than words can express and this past year has been the best year of my entire life! I never really experienced love until tripp arrived:) And having Carl as my partner, best friend and tripp's daddy is just icing on the cake;) I am blessed beyond words. Last night I was watching tripp and carl play together on the floor. They were laughing and rough-housing...it was so precious! Carl is an amazing daddy and tripp loves him to pieces! He already thinks everything carl does is hilarious! I love my life!!

We have a busy weekend ahead, as this is the last weekend before tripp's big one year old bash:) I have only been planning this party since tripp was like 6 months old;) haha. Thanks for stopping by! We will update again soon:)
