Updates

These past two weeks have been quite an adjustment for our little family. Since I had a C-section I wasn't able to lift tripp for the first two weeks. So we have had help over everyday. My mom would come every morning before carl left for work, then either my grandmother, aunt or sweet mother in law would come over after that and stay until carl got home. I can't thank them all enough, we are so blessed to have each of you in our lives. Today I went for my 2 week check up and got the "all clear" to lift tripp as needed. It made me feel so much better and I couldn't wait to get home and pick him up! My awesome mom took me to the doctor since I wasn't feeling great this morning while my wonderful in-laws watched both boys. Again, can't thank them enough!

Our sweet little tucker is 2 weeks old today! we took him to the doctor yesterday for his newborn screening and a weight check. Well our little (or should I say big) boy has more than exceeded his birth weight (8lbs. 1 oz.). He now weighs 9 lbs.! When we brought him home last monday he weighed 7lbs. 12 oz. Its safe to say our little boy LOVES to eat! He usually eats every 2 hours and drinks anywhere from 3-4 ounces. It has been an adjustment getting up during the night again, but I think my body is getting used to it again. It has also been a challenge having 2 kiddos but we're getting there;) Today is my first day alone with both boys and so far, so good! It does help that my in-laws are literally a "stone throw" away!

Our precious tripp is now 21 months old and is too smart for his own good. He's getting used to having tucker around, now that he has realized he is here to stay;) He calls him "buh" for baby brother and loves to try and stick pacifiers and bottles in his mouth...needless to say we have to keep a close eye on him. Tripp is still not saying too many words but does have his own 'words" for certain things and makes lots of sounds. He is getting much closer. One word that he has learned to say is carl! It is hysterical. He hears me calling carl all the time and realized he comes a lot faster. So when he really wants his daddy he will skip the "dada" and yell "carl!" He also loves to make animal sounds and makes the silliest faces when he does. He is getting so big and growing up way too fast. I am trying to enjoy every exhausting minute with tucker during this baby stage because I know how fast it goes. My first baby is now a boy!

Below are some recent pictures of my precious boys! They are the light of my life!

Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for this year! We have 2 precious and healthy little boys, great friends and wonderful families to spend thanksgiving with! We are blessed! This year we had 3 thanksgiving feasts. Wednesday night we went over to Carl's parent's house and had a yummy dinner with the schindewolf family. Thursday we went over to my mom's house for a huge feast! I was especially thankful for my family watching my boys so I could enjoy a nice long nap:) A much needed nap for a mommy with a 20 month old and a 1 week old;) We ended out the week with yet another yummy meal at my dad's on friday. I'm sad to say that I didn't take many pictures this year. I guess having just had a baby threw me off....not to worry I will be back to snapping photos in no time;) I did manage to snap a few....

Tucker Mason Schindewolf

Our little Tucker Mason arrived on Friday at 1:32pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1oz and was 20 inches long. We are so in love with our new little boy. Tripp spent the day with grammy and coach and then came up to the hospital to meet his new baby brother. He was less than thrilled but he is starting to warm up to him more and more. Because I had a C-section I had to stay in the hospital until Monday, so tripp was able to get lots of one on one time with daddy. A special thanks to my mom and to coach and  grammy for all their help with tripp and me throughout the whole process! We have been home since monday and although a little chaotic, things have been going ok. I am starting to get around a little better and starting to feel a little more like myself. I am so in love with my boys and couldn't feel more blessed. Here are a few pictures of our new little love.

4 amazing years...

It has been an amazing four years! Hard to believe that I have been married to my best friend for four years. We have been through so much together and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else. Carl is an amazing husband, partner, father and friend. We have been blessed in so many ways including the birth of our first son tripp and the upcoming birth of our second son, tucker. I can't think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary than welcoming tucker mason schindewolf into the world on friday. Here are a few pictures to show how far we have come;) I love you honey with all my heart! Happy 4 Years:)

an update on tucker and a few pictures...

I went to the doctor yesterday for my weekly check-up on baby tucker. All looks good and we are all set for a c-section delivery, next friday the 18th at 1 pm! Hard to believe he will be here in a week!! Unless he decides to make an early appearance...which I wouldn't mind at this point;) I have been having lots of contractions lately but no "real labor" yet. We shall see. Can't believe we are about to be a family of four! We have so much to be thankful for this year!

Below are a few fun recent pictures. There are a few of tripp and kate wearing grammy's t-shirts. Who knew running around in big t-shirts could be so fun and amusing! It was hysterical!! Tripp looks mighty handsome in his purple curves shirt;)

This last week is going to be a rough one, especially since Carl has been working late and had many events lately! But thank goodness for my mom and his parents who have stepped in to help out this miserable preggo and her very active 20 month old! Nonetheless, we cannot wait to meet tucker! Stay tuned...we will post some pictures as soon as he arrives! Hope all have a great rest of the week!! thanks for stopping by!

Hello November!

Hard to believe November has arrived! We are looking forward to so many things, but especially the birth of our second son, Tucker! We are set for a C-section on November 18th, however he is measuring almost 2 weeks ahead so it is quite possible he could come earlier! This morning I even had some minor contractions. So we will see...either way it will be 15 days or less! So crazy. we are also looking forward to the holidays and spending time with family and friends. And I am happy to report that I have officially finished my Christmas shopping and just in the nick of time! Below are some recent pictures plus a picture of my big baby bump! Hope all have a blessed week!

Trick or treat

We had a great halloween! we spent the first half of the day hanging out with brenden and graham then we came home to a super clean house since we had the cleaning lady come. Last night we took tripp trick-or-treating for the first time! We went down Schindewolf lane, stopped by nana and papa's then ended up at yaya's! Tripp had no idea what was going on, but he got lots of goodies and mommy got lots of cute pictures. We just love our little aggie!
