Goodness Gracious!!

I thought I would do a little update on our crazy life lately. Goodness Gracious about sums it up! Our little tripper has been wising up and learning to unlock all child locks, climb onto counter tops, into sinks, into grammy and coach's freezer, and just about anywhere else he can get into. I cannot take my eyes off this little mischief maker for a second!! As you will see in the first photo, that is what happened after I went to the bathroom for less than 30 seconds!! I've also had to send my "other baby" (aka: my new nikon) in for repairs:( so I have had to pull out my old camera...it's weird using a point and shoot again!! Nonetheless, I guess I will survive;) (haha, I know i'm a loser). This morning I felt like super mom! I watched my nephews, in addition to my 2, for a few hours this morning. I managed to feed them all, take them outside to play in the sand box and swim and bathe them all! Then after they left, I worked out, took a shower, cleaned house, did laundry, put a crock pot meal to cook and put both boys down for a nap around 1pm!! I'm sorry I just had to toot my own horn for a sec!! I don't have those kind of days very often. Tomorrow we take tucker into the pediatric gastro specialist at texas children's. I have been counting down the days, we are praying we get some answers to our sweet tucker's tummy problems! Ok enough with all the random chatter...here are the pics:

mostly pictures...

Below are lots of pictures posted from my phone and from grammy's camera! We have been busy enjoying our summer:) Our typical afternoon usually consists of playing outside, running over to grammy and coach's and watching tripp play in the pool, naked of course;) If he's lucky daddy will even take him on the four wheeler:) we love living so close to all the schindes, especially grammy and coach!! 7 months

My littlest baby is now 7 months old! Where does the time go?? Tucker has been such a blessing in our lives and we just love him to pieces!! Here are some the things tuck has been up to these days:

-wearing 12-18 months

-size 4 diapers

-drinks about 7-8 ounces every 4-5 hours (still on super sensitive formula)

-only eating butternut squash (only food we know that he doesn't have a reaction to...we see a specialist next week, so hoping for answers so we can give him more food!)

-sitting up

-rolling all around

-can stand on his legs when we hold him up

-thought we had a tooth breaking through...but none yet!

smiles all the time

-loves his mommy;)

-but thinks daddy is sooooo funny!

-loves to watch and interact with tripp

-loves the car (we are about to switch to a "big boy" carseat)

-other than the tummy issues, is a very content little guy and very laid back

-can hold his own bottle

-weighs about 21 lbs! (we went to doctor last week and they weighed him!)

Our little guy is such a joy! I love my little boys more than words can say. I've seen this sign a few times and it is so true: "there's this boy, he totally stole my heart, he calls me mom (or maaaaa, in my case;))" LOVE my precious boys!!! Here are a few pics.

happy weekend

We had a great weekend! We got to spend a lot of time together as a family and we got to spend time with our families as well. On friday my sister turned the big 3-0, so saturday we got together to celebrate. We normally have a mom and sisters lunch for our birthdays but we decided this year to invite some of my sister's friends to join us and surprise her. It went very well and she was super surprised!! We had a great time having lunch, doing a little shopping and then taking my sister to frost for a birthday cupcake:) Happy 30th kel!!!

Today we celebrated our hero...my hubby and my boy's awesome daddy!! I already dedicated a post to him, but I wanted to give another shout out to him. We love you!!! We spent the day together as a family. We ran errands, played outside, did some house cleaning and I even got a nice run in this morning too!! We ended the evening with dinner at the schinde's house. It's always fun getting together. Grammy even bought us all matching old navy tees and we attempted to get a group shot. you will see below that it didn't go so well, but still cute. tucker threw up right before the pic too! our poor tucker bug and his tummy!! I gave him 2 gerber puffs today and that did not agree with his tummy. He has been throwing up ever since :( He seems to finally be doing better and is sound asleep. Thank God we have an appointment with a specialist next week!!

Happy daddy's day!!

I just wanted to dedicate a post to THE BEST daddy around!! We love you so much and are so lucky to have you!

My wonderful hubby, watching you with our boys just melts my heart. They both love and adore you and both light up when you walk in the room. They don't realize it yet, but they are beyond blessed to have a man like you as a role model. As a husband you were/are top notch, as a father...there are no words. Thank you so much for working so hard for us. I love you and am also blessed to have you by my side and couldn't imagine raising my boys with anyone else!! Happy Father's day honey....you deserve it!!!

thanks for being so much fun. thanks for always making me and brother laugh and thanks for throwing me around all the time! I know mommy freaks out but you know how much i love it. brother will love it too one day. thanks for taking me on four wheeler rides, and playing outside with me and chasing me around....it's really fun. i can't wait to play catch, go camping and just do guy things...without mommy ( we really love her, but sometimes we just need some guy time:)) we hope you have a great day daddy, you really deserve it.

Lately

Things have been getting much better lately. All sickness gone! Tucker's tummy has been doing better too! We even got lucky and got him in with a GI specialist in 2 weeks, otherwise we would have had to wait until august. I am looking forward to seeing what is going on with our sweet boy so we can start feeding him more foods and not have to worry about them messing with his tummy! He is soooooo ready for food, everytime we eat he tries to grab the food out of our hands and opens his mouth! The only food we know for sure he can eat without irritaition is butternut squash, poor guy is probably going to hate it soon because it is all we give him!

We have been hanging out around the house a lot lately. On tuesday, we had a really bad storm hit. I was home alone with the boys and was scared to death! We have some large pine trees behind our house that were swaying with the wind and I was so afraid they were going to fall on our house. Tucker was sleeping but I woke him up and took both boys to a safe spot in the house and waited out the storm. Thank god for my ipad and portable dvd player, which kept tripp entertained until the power came back on. We were only without power for about 2 hours, I know we were lucky because others were without for days!!

All sickness gone, except now I have an eye infection! I'm hoping it's not pink eye, but have been lysoling, washing sheets, and washing my hands like crazy!!! I called keith (who happens to be an optometrist) and he prescribed me some meds for my eye which will hopefully kill this thing once and for all!!
